April Ross
April Ross, a beach volleyball star in the US, is among a select set of females who've won medals in multiple Olympics. In Tokyo over the next several days, she'll be aiming to win her third gold medal alongside the first-time Olympian Alix Klineman. Ross wants to achieve more than her first Olympic medal. At 39 she could have her last shot. Her optimism is that she'll be successful in achieving top honours. If we do our top or play well I feel like we'll win the gold medal Ross said via NBC Boston. Also, I am going put my faith in a touch of luck. Ross was born the 22nd, 1982 located in Costa Mesa California. She resided in the area along with her entire family. Her athletic career began at Newport Harbor High School where she was a part of a number of sports. She competed in basketball and the track as well as her indoor volleyball achievements as a prep athlete. But she clearly was superior to the rest in the latter sport. As per her biography, during high school she played volleyball as an outside hitter (middle blocker) as well as a setter (outside blocker). Gatorade Circle of Champions named her the national Player of 1999. The skills she showed in volleyball also won her an Orange County Athlete of the Year award in 2000. While Ross Klineman and Ross have been doing their thing since 2017, the former was already a big-time player on the beach scene even before the pair formed. It's true that she has been able to win multiple tournaments, including one with an iconic volleyball player. Jennifer Kessy was her partner for six years, from 2007 to the year 2013. She also coached Klineman as well as herself. Together with Kessy, Ross won the World Championship in 2009, while racing on the international circuit. In 2012, the pair won silver at London's Olympics. Misty Maytreanor (Jennings) as well as Misty Maytreanor won gold, ahead of them. Ross Jennings was the replacement for May-Treanor as she retired. They both went on to take home the bronze medal in beach volleyball at the Rio Olympics in 2016 along with Walsh Jennings. Ross was a college player at USC Trojans prior to beginning starting her professional career. She played in high school and in before hitting the beach professionally. The time she spent at USC was awe-inspiring. She was an All-American and Pac-10 freshman of the year when she was a teen freshman. The Trojans had the chance to reach the Final Four with her help. In her sophomore season she suffered a devastating personal tragedy, but was able to be named an All-American. In her last two seasons as a player, she led the Trojans up to the summit winning consecutive national championships. She was a great volleyball player, winning the Honda Sports Award in 2003-04 as the most outstanding female volleyball player at the college level. Ross was an USC international relations student, was a renowned volleyball player. Margie Ross never saw her daughter make it to the top of beach volleyball. Ross's mother died of cancer of the breast when she was a sophomore at USC. She continues to cherish her parents who passed away. Also, Margie continues to be an inspiration to her on the beach and in life.
