Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous abilities, which included the ability to act, direct, produce, write plays, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's earliest memories involve attending rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother's work. Anna appeared in numerous commercials as a kid. Anna moved to Toronto, Ontario, for the purpose of pursuing her acting. The decade which followed, she moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The two were engaged by the year 2009. They were married at a civil wedding ceremony in was held in December, and then renewed their vows in the form of a Jewish celebration in Fredericton in April of 2011 in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism. Bo's relationship with a sex partner, together with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo) was featured in CNN as being among the top Television Couples. E! named the couple "the best TV Couple" in 2013.
