Summer Glau

 The first time she appeared on television was as a ballerina in a guest role in a 2002 episode on the television show Angel. Director Joss Whedon spotted her and decided to cast her as River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. Glau also appeared in the role for the sequel Serenity. Glau had previously auditioned for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force. But she was unable to beat Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. She played a minor role in the movie Sleepover that she played the high school senior Shelly. She also appeared on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " as well as season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). Glau was Tess Doerner (a paranoid, Schizophrenic returnee) in the second season of The 4400. From season three, she became an ongoing character. She was also in the horror film Mammoth. Glau was also cast in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a TV series which debuted on January 13, 2008. Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration team sent back to safeguard John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The 7th episode of the show, "The Demon Hand", featured several scenes that featured Glau acting as Cameron is seen dancing ballet. In the second season's episodes "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young, Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau also appeared as herself in an episode in 2009 of the CBS situation comedy The Big Bang Theory
